Earlier this year, IMPACT Magazine partnered with V School to provide half a million dollars’ worth of scholarships for those seeking to learn UX/UI design. Among the recipients, one individual stood out: Jodi Swaby, a remarkable Black woman who earned the full scholarship. This prestigious award, designed to support excellence in technology education, has set the stage for Jodi’s entry into the dynamic world of innovation and creativity at V School, a mastery technology institution.

During Utah Tech Week, IMPACT Magazine hosted a networking mixer to introduce Jodi to tech companies and individuals who might be interested in mentoring her. It was at this event that she met Morgan Williams, CEO of Blendyd Studios. Blendyd combines the power of AI with human insight to revolutionize the hiring process, helping recruiters effortlessly get the right talent into the driver’s seat.
