IMPACT Magazine Partners with Meta, Progressive Leasing, Mothers Shut In & Thread To Empower Black Girls At empowerHERed To IMPACT: Interactive Career Exploratory Summit At Adobe In Utah

IMPACT Magazine is thrilled to announce its partnership with global companies Meta, Progressive Leasing, Thread and nonprofit Mothers Shut In for the empowerHERed To IMPACT: Interactive Career Exploratory Summit, a groundbreaking event designed to empower and educate black girls aged 12-18.

Scheduled for September 6th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Adobe’s headquarters in Lehi, this interactive summit aims to connect young black girls with successful professional women of color from various fields. The event is tailored to provide insight, inspiration, and valuable resources for these girls to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential.

Through this partnership, IMPACT Magazine, Meta, and Progressive Leasing are creating a hands-on experience that will ignite ambition and empower the next generation of black female leaders. The event will feature interactive sessions, mentorship opportunities, and engaging activities to foster growth and development among the participants. Thread, inspired by the human instinct to progress, has provided all of the attendees their most popular crossbody bag!

One of the unique aspects of empowerHERed To IMPACT is its focus on providing scholarships for ten girls graduating high school during the program, offered by Mothers Shut In. Mothers Shut In (MSI) is a nonprofit community of women from diverse backgrounds who have come together collectively to change the lives of women, their children, grandchildren, and future generations in ways they could not achieve on their own.

Each girl will submit a 250 word essay on how do they plan to use their education and personal experiences to empower and IMPACT their community? These scholarships, ensuring that each girl has help with the resources she needs for her future endeavors, whether it be college, technical school, beauty school, or vocational school.

“We are excited to join forces with Meta, Progressive Leasing, and Mothers Shut In to create a transformative experience for young black girls,” said Tunisha Brown, Founder/Editor-In-Chief at IMPACT Magazine. “Our goal is to empower and educate these girls, and with the support of our partners, we can make a lasting IMPACT on their lives and inspire them to become future leaders in their respective fields.”

This collaboration underscores the commitment of IMPACT Magazine, Meta, Progressive Leasing, and Mothers Shut In to diversity, inclusion, and empowerment within various industries. By coming together for empowerHERed To IMPACT, they are paving the way for a brighter and more equitable future for black girls everywhere.

Not only will our partners have an exhibition space, but we are excited to welcome potential vendors to join us at the summit. This event offers a unique opportunity to connect with and support the next generation of black female leaders, providing them with resources, inspiration, and hands-on experiences.”
