As Robyn Oguinye prepares to take the Miss Utah USA stage, she’s doing it with the full force of vision, intention, and sisterhood behind her. In a standout collaboration, IMPACT Magazine founder Tunisha Brown, luxury hairstylist Olivia McCane, and PRO makeup artist Jessica Haynes have come together to support Robyn’s campaign, each contributing their unique brilliance to make this moment unforgettable.
“I am extremely proud to have partnered with two of some of the most sought after in hair and makeup,” said Tunisha. “For three Black women to partner to ensure the best for another Black woman is the greatest honor.”

Tunisha, known for her advocacy of changemakers and cultural leaders through IMPACT Magazine, and Robyn handpicked the stunning gown from The Ivy Showroom; an intentional choice to make sure Robyn steps on stage feeling her most confident and powerful.

Hair and makeup will be handled by two industry powerhouses:
Olivia McCane, founder of The Meltdown, will provide Robyn’s signature melted lace install, delivering a soft, flawless, and elevated look. And Jessica Haynes, with over 17 years of experience in traditional and airbrush makeup, will be responsible for Robyn’s glam, striking the perfect balance between elegance and edge.

Robyn, an award-winning journalist currently anchoring at FOX 13 News in Salt Lake City, is no stranger to being seen, but this time, she’s stepping forward to be seen differently. A lifelong pageant competitor and advocate for childhood literacy, she’s merging grace, purpose, and media savvy to represent Miss Wasatch Front at Miss Utah USA.
“I knew from the time I was four years old that I wanted to walk the Miss USA stage,” Robyn shared. “Year after year, I’d see only one or two Black girls on that stage, but seeing them showed me I could do it too.” That dream has lived with her for nearly three decades, and now, with a powerful team behind her, she’ll dominate the stage.
From prep meetings at Edison House to final touches at Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, this campaign is more than just a bid for a crown, it’s a celebration of collaboration and the beauty of women uplifting one another.
